Sloganman volgde Election Day niet op het puntje van z’n stoel. Daar zat hij wel toen Obama in 2008 de US en bij uitbreiding de hele wereld in z’n zak stak.
Obama anno 2012 is ouder, slimmer
en, jammer maar helaas, terughoudender geworden. Na 2008 schreef Sloganman zich enthousiast
in op de Obama campaign list, waardoor hij toch een paar keer per week
berichten ontving van oftewel David Axelrod oftewel Joe Biden oftewel
Michelle oftewel Barack zelf. Een berichtenstroom die tot Sandylike proporties
aanzwol in de maanden, weken en dagen die de nieuwe hoogdag voor de Democratie voorafgingen.
